GRADE II LISTED COTTAGE

This Grade II Listed thatched cottage with a Victorian rear extension and modern additions were in a poor state of repair. Part of the rear extension was demolished and a new 2-storey extension constructed to the rear of the property with an adjoining single storey Sun-Room with roof lantern.

The proposal improved the layout and conserved the significance and historic fabric of the cottage. The most significant element is the roadside frontage, which remained unaltered. New materials were chosen to closely match the existing with the finishes intended to visually blend the new with the old.
