CARE HOME EXTENSION & REFURBISHMENT

There were two main aspects of this project; to renovate a large section of the existing Care Home, and to replace an existing aluminium framed conservatory with a modern insulated Sun-Room.

The existing conservatory was fully glazed and, due to the structure being a lightweight aluminium frame, it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter to be fully utilised. The new Sun-Room has large double glazed windows, a facing brick plinth and a standing seam finish to the roof.

As part of the renovating works, the existing layout has been revised to allow the provision of an En-Suite in each of the individual rooms, wider corridors, a new communal Living Space and further amenity rooms such as an in-house Salon and Assisted Bathroom.
